When you’re traveling to London by rail, you’re probably coming in through Victoria Station. And, you’ll probably want another way to get around once you’re in the beautiful city so, Victoria Station makes it easier than ever to rent a car as soon as you get in. Hertz Rent-a-Car does not operate out of Victoria Station but there are a couple of more options that you will have.

If you just want to rent a car and want to keep the car for several days or weeks so that it’s available anytime you want to go, you probably want to choose Sixt car rental. This car rental company rents out its many different models of cars on a daily or weekly basis and often, things such as gas and mileage will be added right in. However, if you only need a vehicle for a short amount of time, you might be more interested in Streetcar car hire.

Streetcar car hire is a car rental company that will rent you a car for a certain number of hours, days, or weeks. The difference between Streetcar and Sixt is that Streetcar will rent you a car on a pay-as-you-go basis. So if you’re not actually driving the car, even if that’s just for a few hours, you’ll drop it off for another driver hiring a car through Streetcar. Then you’ll be told when and where to pick the car back up if you need it, and you can use your Streetcard and your own PIN at that time to start the car. This is often the best option for those who only need a car for a short while.
