The Victoria bus station is primarily used by ‘Megabus’ and the ‘National Express’ bus company to serve many locations, not just in the United Kingdom but throughout Europe.

In total the National Express goes to 180 different destinations. The ‘Eurolines’ chain provides links to over 500 European destinations as far as Warsaw, Lisbon and Rome. Bookings are best made online where special offers and discounts are almost always given. They also link up with many of London’s tourist attractions and special events to provide discounted days-out for all the family.

Just a minutes walk away is the Greenline station, where smaller buses run to nearer destinations such as Buckingham palace, as well as local airports.

Both stations have numerous facilities to make your travelling experience more comfortable, such as toilets, various dining options and many shops to pass the time. If you need any groceries or snacks then there is a Sainsburies supermarket just to the side of the station.

If you are arriving into Victoria on one of these services then you will need to consider your transportation options for the rest of your stay in London. If you are planning on moving around and sight-seeing then renting a hire car is a brilliant idea as it gives you tons of freedom to explore the city at your own pace. Check the search engine feature for some instant quotes. You can even rent a car for several hours with the new ‘car sharing’ scheme, making it much more economical. Have a great journey!
