Do You Know What I’m Doing in About a Month?

When I looked at the calendar this morning, I realized that the end of this semester for university is right around the corner. It’s funny, because even though I will have already completed four semesters at university once this one comes to an end, it honestly doesn’t seem like I have already been in university for two full years. Although I have been seen them over the course of the last year, I will be spending my summer living with my parents. The great thing about going home to live with your parents for the summer is that you get to slack off and have them do laundry for you once again (instead of worrying about it yourself). Although I am acting like this semester is already over, the truth is that I still have to take all of my final examinations before I can leave for the summer.

Luckily, I have been a very attentive student this semester, and while I know I will be doing a lot of studying between now and the end of the semester, I am confident that I will perform well on all of my final examinations. Because I am feeling good about my final examinations, I have already planned a little treat for myself this summer. Once I move back home to London, I am taking an old friend with me and we are picking up a Victoria Station car rental I reserved. Our purpose in reserving a Victoria Station car rental is to use it for a week to take a road trip that we have planned out. The great thing about my friend is that although we go to different universities, as soon as we see each other, we pick up like we never left off, which is why this road trip will be so much fun.

Spending Some Time in London This Summer Will Be Great

Despite the fact that there have been plenty of other significant events taking place throughout the world during the last couple of weeks, it seems like the news media wants to focus all of their attention on the H1N1 flu virus. The reason people took notice of the H1N1 flu virus is because as it was spreading throughout Mexico, it was the cause of the deaths of many people there. Although it is true that the H1N1 virus has continued its spread across the world, it is not causing the same level of fatalities that it initially did in Mexico. I wanted to highlight this fact about the H1N1 virus, because for reasons unknown to me, people continue to be extremely worried about this virus continuing to spread around the world. In spite of the fact that I think this continued worrying is unjustified, countries throughout the world are continuing to respond in a fairly serious manner.

Because I planned it over three months ago, I have decided that regardless of all these swine flu worries, I am not canceling that trip I have planned. I already planned on taking a trip to London in the middle of the summer, and I’m not going to let this swine flu issue deter me from visiting London (which is a place I have wanted to go for awhile now). After spending time tracking down great deals on my flight, hotel room and Victoria Station car rental, there’s no way I am giving those up and canceling my trip to London. Luckily, my trip isn’t for at least another month, so I have my fingers crossed that people will stop worrying about the H1N1 virus and start worrying about the next thing they see on their television sets!
